Meet Aaron,

Senior UX Consultant & Carbs Connoisseur

Aaron is a researcher and experience designer who applies his problem-solving skills by exploring novel ideas and searching for creative human-centred solutions. He studied psychology at the University of Michigan where he became interested in consumer behaviour and the psychology behind decision-making.

Aaron brings a strong blend of left brain and right – and previously applied his skills on marketing, research working with Japanese antiques, focusing on online and live auction houses.

Aaron’s most relevant experiences includes:

  • Experience Design lead for DBS Trade Finance digitisation – leading a blended team of 4 for 24 months

  • Research and Testing lead for DBS IDEAL product design – research design, planning and execution

  • Experience Design lead for MOH HealthHub mobile app revamp, a public sector initiative for HealthierSG

  • Experience Design consultant for MOH Health Kaki - an AI powered health assistant providing tailored prescriptions for Singaporeans

  • Qualitative and quantitative researcher for M1 gaming marketplace – leveraging AI-driven research & testing tools

Salted caramel, hands down. Like how the rich caramel sweetness is elevated with a touch of salt, my work is about finding that balance crafting experiences that are data-driven and impactful - yet deeply human.

What is something you are deeply curious about?

I’m deeply curious about how two people can experience the same thing in completely different ways—whether it’s a product, a service, or even a single moment. The same website, message, or interaction can feel intuitive to one person and frustrating to another. What shapes these differences? Is it past experiences, cognitive biases, emotional states, or subconscious expectations?

Understanding these nuances is what drives me—unpacking the layers of perception to design experiences that truly resonate with diverse users.
