A certified people nerd, Sandra enjoys tinkering with humans to understand the everyday practices, symbolic meanings, and forms of sociality that guide the interaction between humans and technology. She pursued Social Anthropology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh where she discovered a passion for exploring the diverse ways in which people inhabit, experience, and imagine the world around them.

As a UX researcher, Sandra is passionate about the intersection of people, culture, and technology for positive social impact. She believes in the power of design to create meaningful experiences that bring people together.

• UX Lead on DBS Trade Finance initiation digitisation and DBS Connex digitisation

• Conducted independent ethnographic research as part of honours dissertation, including digital ethnography to gather insights into the use of social media as a digital archive and platform for memory recollection

• Executed all aspects of research from defining key objectives, conducting research and ideation sessions, analysing and synthesising data, to presenting actionable insights as part of rolling research

• Moderated user interviews and usability tests, with work involving prototyping, copywriting, designing mockups, and survey design
